Esomeprazole 40 mg Injection is indicated for the provisional treatment of GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) with caustic inflammation in adults and pediatric patients 1 month to 17 years, comprehensively as an alternative to oral medical care when oral esomeprazole is not achievable or suitable. The PPI injection should not be managed concomitantly with any other medicines through the identical intravenous site or tubing. The intravenous formation should always be derived with either 0.9% Lactated Ringers Injection, USP or 5% Dextrose Injection, Sodium Chloride Injection, USP, USP both prior to and after direction of esomeprazole sodium for injection. The Esomeprazole 40 mg admixture should be kept at room temperature up to 30ÃÂÃÂ°C (86ÃÂÃÂ°F) and should be handled within the selected time period with no requirement of refrigeration.
